A Zongo businessman in diaspora Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman currently is the CEO of Karima Shipping Enterprise Inc. which was incorporated in August 2015. Services provided at Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc. does to do with Door to Door shipment from the USA to Ghana whereby they pick goods from customers in the USA and then deliver to their Ghana addresses, Freight forwarding services whereby a whole container can be prepared for interested clients and send to them at their desired addresses worldwide, Auto Auction whereby they buy new, used and salvaged cars for interested clients at the financial capabilities..
Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc. was awarded the best exporter of the year 2016 under the USA Small Business Administration due to the quality of services they‟ve been providing to their clients. It was the first African country to ever win such an award. A Ghanaian and Zongorian established a business which competed with 50 companies and came out as the best. That makes a great history for Africa, Ghana and Zongo as well.The award was shown to the Sarkin Zongo of Ashanti region, the Wangara Chief of the Ashanti region as
an achievement a Zongorian gained.
“It may sound strange but it was the reality of a turning point in my life. I gave my stuff to be ship by a
gentleman from New York to Tema unfortunately when the stuff get to Tema-Ghana he couldn‟t clear it at
the port due to financial difficulties so I step in to assist, that was when I got the idea that gave birth to
Karima Enterprise in December 2015. “ said Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman”
Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman currently has about 20 employees from the USA and Ghana. This on itself stands for minimizing the unemployment rate in Ghana. Currently Mr. Mohammed Osman has established a school with the name Karima Educational Complex.The school has been established in the middle of Zongo community, aim of the school to educate more Zongo children in both Islamic and secular education and eradicate the illiteracy rate in Zongo and Ghana as well. Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman currently is the Vice President of Kumasi Zongo Association of North America.
Mr. Mohammed Osman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Karima Shipping Enterprise Inc. made a donation to the community in Ghana West Africa to give helping hand and support institutions such as the prisons by providing some items includes 21 bags of fertilizers containing used clothing and 2 bags of ricefor the inmates worth of Gh¢4,000 .The organization is very pleased visiting the inmates, interacting with them and made the donations as well. He then assured the inmates of any support the company can give them when they are out of prison
and advised the youth to desist from any act that will lead them back to the prisons when they are out. He further urged the youth outside to live a decent life to avoid more youth being locked up in the prisons
KARIMA SHIPPING ENTERPRISES INC. DONATES TO AHMAD UWAISI ORPHANAGE:
Mr. Mohammed Osman, also made a donations items worth GH¢3,000 to AHMAD UWAISI ORPHANAGE in Kumasi. The items include 15 bags of fertilizers containing used clothing
and 2 bags of rice. The donations as part of the organization‟s annual corporate social responsibilities (CSR) are to give helping hand to the poor and needy in the various communities.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the headmaster, Mr. Napour Mohammed. He thanked the organization for the gestures and promised to use the items for the intended purpose.
KARIMA CHARITY FOUNDATION UNDER KARIMA SHIPPING ENTERPRISES INC. DONATES TO THE MANHYIA HOSPITAL
On 6th December, 2016 Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman donated a number of wheel chairs and walkers to the Manhyia Hospital at Kumasi worth GHc5, 000.00. The donation was made as part of the foundation‟s social corporate responsibilities. Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman said, it was important to always extend a helping hand to the less
privileged, which has to do with individuals and also to institutions such as Hospitals, Prisons and Orphanages which serves as a giving back of the earnings to the society.
Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman added that the main reason behind this particular donation came about as a result of a pathetic situation he witnessed when he visited the Manhyia hospital some days ago. As he was on his way to office , he saw an old man who was seriously ill and was brought to the road side, his family were trying to get a taxi to enable them convey him to the hospital. The CEO then stopped by and picked the sick man to the hospital with his car. When they go to the hospital, they had a challenge with a wheel
chair which is suppose to take the man inside the hospital for treatment. The CEO then decided to donate those wheel chairs and walkers to the hospitals since he have some of them at his work place.

Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc. in part of its giving back to the community program donated some clothing‟s to the less privileged in the community. Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman who is the C.E.O of Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc. during his visit to Ghana his motherland donates to the people of the Asebi community. KARIMA SHIPPING ENTERPRISES INC. DONATES A WELL FOR THE COMMUNITY
Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc. dug a well for its community. It has been a challenge for most of the people in the Asokore Mampong municipality to get water for their day in life activities. The C.E.O for Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc during his visit to Ghana, found it necessary to donate a well to the community to enable save lives as the saying goes “Water is Life”. Karima Shipping Enterprises Inc dug wells for the community as part of its giving back to the community program and wishes to provide more of the wells to other communities in Ghana.
DONATION TO SOME ISLAMIC SCHOOLS
Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman during his visit in Ghana donated some clothings and learning materials to some Islamic schools such as the Yussifiya Islamic School of Asawasi, Hakimiyya
Islamic School of the late Imam Garba Haakim at Aboabo Post Office, Al-Bashaa‟ir Islamic School, Nurul Ameen Islamic School and some other Islamic schools. Mr. Mohammed Aminu Osman also promised to continue with the donation program always.
